We are happy to announce that ICCS 2025 in Singapore will mark our return to a fully in-person event.
Please read below for the details.
1. We have closely monitored in-person vs online participation statistics over the last three editions of the conference (2022 to 2024). The trend is quite clear: while ICCS 2022 in London, the fist hybrid edition after the pandemic, had close to an even distribution (50/50) of in-person and online participants, ICCS 2023 saw the number of in-person participants rise to two thirds (66%) of the total audience. At ICCS 2024, the number of in-person participants increased to three quarters (75%) of the total audience.
2. The overall feedback collected from many participants is unanimous and in favor of a completely in-person event without online presentations.
This is in line with a focus on networking and discussing and doing science on-site, which only an in-person event can facilitate.
3. There will still be a registration option (incl. publishing) for authors of accepted contributions who are unable to join us in Singapore.
These authors will be given the option to upload their presentation slides to a repository, which will then be made available to all registered participants.
But there will be neither online presentations nor streaming of the in-person talks.
